A few simple gestures will help your candle burn evenly, last longer and leave behind an object worth keeping.

Every candle behaves differently. Follow these simple care instructions to preserve the fragrance, protect the vessel and get the most from every burn.

Trim the wick.

Before each burn, trim the wick to approximately 5 mm. This helps control the flame, limits smoke and supports a clean burn.

Always allow the wax to cool completely before trimming.

Let the surface melt.

During the first burn, allow the wax to melt all the way to the edges. This helps prevent tunnelling and creates a more even burn.

The first burn usually takes between two and three hours.

Burn with care.

Keep the candle away from drafts, children, pets and flammable materials. Never leave a burning candle unattended.

Do not burn for more than four consecutive hours.

Stop at the right moment.

Stop using the candle when approximately 5 mm of wax remains at the bottom. This protects the vessel from excessive heat.

Frequently asked questions

Why is my candle tunnelling?

Tunnelling often happens when the first burn is too short. Let the wax melt evenly to the edges whenever possible.

Can I reuse the vessel?

Yes. Once the candle is finished and the vessel has fully cooled, remove the remaining wax, clean it carefully and reuse it as you wish.

Why does the wax surface look uneven?

Natural wax can develop slight texture or colour variations after cooling. This is normal and does not affect performance.
