The fragrance
Leather, saffron and warm woods create a scent that unfolds slowly and lingers long after the flame is gone.
Opening with spicy saffron and soft jasmine, it deepens into rich leather and smoky woods before settling into a warm, resinous base of labdanum and amber.

Every object is hand-poured in Paris, in small batches. We use a natural soy wax with high-concentration fragrances from Grasse. No mass production. Each piece is made to order.
SHIPPING
We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
RETURN POLICY
We accept returns on unused, unopened items within 14 days of delivery. Once a candle has been lit, it cannot be returned.
To request a return, contact us at contact@notwhatyouexpect.fr. Return shipping is at the customer's expense. Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the item.

40 to 50 hours, depending on maintenance. Trim the wick, avoid drafts.
